Color makes me happy. Maybe because I have lived under the gray skies of the Pacific Northwest my entire life, I can’t help but to embrace it.
I discovered the joy of working with glass at a young age when my grandmother taught me how to cut and grind pieces for her stained glass window project. Those lessons in creativity launched my interest in the medium and I have been obsessed ever since. 15 years ago I decided to take a leap from the corporate world into doing what I love most, spending time with my two daughters and pursuing my passion for glass art.
Influenced by a love of color, nature and travels through Italy, my work showcases a harmonious blend of contemporary design and ancient glassmaking techniques. In my home studio, tiny pieces of glass are intricately arranged and kiln formed into colorful home decor and artful jewelry. Each piece is thoughtfully designed in hopes of adding a touch of color and joy to your day.
